Gala Manufacturing is one of the world’s largest flooring manufacturer. We operate more than 1,000,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities in ten plants and 3 large distribution centers across North America. Gala Manufacturing is committed to the environment, committed to luxury, and committed to value. We are currently seeking 3-4 Flooring Sales Representatives, for the GTA and surrounding regions.
Role/Function: The Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of Gala Manufacturing flooring products in the GTA and surrounding areas to local wholesalers, retailers, home builders and Architects. You will identify new business opportunities and be expected to grow our client base through sales leads, prospect calls, and ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers
• Identify new business opportunities through effective market research and competitor analysis
• Grow and maintain existing client base in the flooring industry
• Meet revenue objectives for the territory in order to meet company targets for growth and profitability
• Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service
• Prepare and submit service offers and quotations;
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients
• Maintain the corporate image and the company’s brand via suitable sales and marketing activities.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ sales experience(inbound/outbound) in flooring industry
• Experience working with new home builders & Architects as a sales representative is considered an asset
• Ability to understand the client’s specific needs as it relates to flooring products
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from clients;
Self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook
• Documenting all information gathered in the territory
• Submit weekly call reports to Sales Manager
• Strong English communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Attention to detail, enthusiasm and your own vehicle are a must
